Retail Sale Price made mandatory on all pan masala packs from 1 February 2026

Under the pan masala amendment, small packs of 10 grams or less, which were earlier exempted, must also print the RSP and all declarations required under the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011. The rules come into force on 1 February 2026 and also enable the RSP-based GST levy on pan masala.
