The provisional (unaudited) accounts of the Government of India for 2024-25 were published on 30 May 2025. Total receipts were ₹30,78,247 crore, or 97.8% of the revised estimates, comprising ₹24,98,885 crore net tax revenue, ₹5,37,544 crore non-tax revenue and ₹41,818 crore non-debt capital receipts. ₹12,86,885 crore was transferred to states as devolution of taxes, ₹1,57,391 crore more than the previous year. Total expenditure was ₹46,55,517 crore (98.7% of RE), of which ₹36,03,510 crore was revenue and ₹10,52,007 crore capital expenditure; interest payments were ₹11,16,343 crore.
