Over 1.92 crore students take part in Project Veer Gatha 5.0
The Ministry of Education said on 24 November 2025 that more than 1.92 crore school students from all 36 States and UTs participated in Project Veer Gatha 5.0, honouring the bravery of the Armed Forces.
Summary
Students submitted poems, paintings, essays and videos on gallantry award winners and great warriors such as King Kharavela of Kalinga, Prithviraj Chauhan and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Project Veer Gatha was instituted in 2021 to spread the life stories of gallantry awardees and instil patriotism, in line with NEP 2020's emphasis on project-based learning.
