The Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD) celebrates the 7th edition of Poshan Pakhwada from 8 to 22 April 2025 as part of efforts to address malnutrition under Mission Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0. This year's four themes are: focus on the First 1000 Days of Life; popularisation of the Beneficiary/Citizen Module of Poshan Tracker; management of malnutrition through CMAM; and a healthy lifestyle to address obesity in children. On the inaugural day, MoS Savitri Thakur was to address officers of 18 partner ministries, state WCD departments and Anganwadi workers by webcast.
