PMGSY-IV, approved by the Union Cabinet on 11 September 2024 for FY 2024-25 to 2028-29, aims to build 62,500 km of all-weather roads to 25,000 unconnected habitations of 500+ population in plains, 250+ in North-East and hill States and special areas, and 100+ in LWE districts.
