PM reviews TB elimination programme and 100-day TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reviewed the National TB Elimination Programme on 13 May 2025, including the 100-day TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan in which 12.97 crore people were screened and 7.19 lakh TB cases detected.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a high-level review of the National TB Elimination Programme (NTEP) at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg, New Delhi, on 13 May 2025. He reviewed the recently concluded 100-Day TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan in high-focus districts, in which 12.97 crore vulnerable individuals were screened and 7.19 lakh TB cases detected, including 2.85 lakh asymptomatic cases. Over 1 lakh new Ni-kshay Mitras joined during the campaign. The PM called for scaling up the campaign nationwide and for strengthening Jan Bhagidari.
