Summary

On 26 November 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took part in the Constitution Day celebrations organised by the Supreme Court at the Auditorium of its Administrative Building Complex in New Delhi, marking 75 years of the Constitution's adoption. He released the Annual Report of the Indian Judiciary 2023-24. Chief Justice of India Sanjiv Khanna, Justices B.R. Gavai and Surya Kant, and Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal were present. The PM also paid tribute to the victims of the Mumbai terror attacks, whose anniversary falls on the same day, and quoted Dr Rajendra Prasad's speech of 26 November 1949.
