He referred to the Kharagpur–Moregram Expressway, the Dubrajpur bypass and major bridges over the Kangsabati and Shilabati rivers. Six stations — Kamakhyaguri, Anara, Tamluk, Haldia, Barabhum and Siuri — were inaugurated as Amrit Bharat Stations, automatic block signalling on the Kalaikunda–Kanimahuli section was dedicated, and a new express train between Purulia and Anand Vihar Terminal was flagged off. Port works included mechanisation of the Haldia Dock Complex, renovation of the Bascule Bridge in the Kolkata Dock System and higher cargo capacity at Kidderpore Dock.
