Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired the State-level function in Bhubaneswar on 20 June 2025 to mark the completion of one year of the Government of Odisha. The Prime Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of projects worth over ₹18,600 crore in drinking water, irrigation, agricultural infrastructure, health, rural roads and other sectors. New train services took rail connectivity to Boudh district for the first time, and 100 electric buses were flagged off under the Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) system. The Prime Minister released the Odisha Vision Document, anchored on 2036, when Odisha completes 100 years as India's first linguistic State, and 2047. The Baraputra Aitihya Gram Yojana was launched to turn the birthplaces of eminent Odias into living memorials, and women achievers were felicitated as more than 16.50 lakh Lakhpati Didis were celebrated.
