The 20th instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) was released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, on 2 August 2025, transferring more than ₹20,500 crore to over 9.7 crore farmers across India.
