The PM mentioned new hospitals at Narsapur and Bommasandra (Karnataka), Pithampur (Madhya Pradesh), Achitapuram (Andhra Pradesh) and Faridabad (Haryana), and work on a new ESIC Hospital in Meerut (Uttar Pradesh). The Indore hospital has 300 beds, expandable to 500. Labour Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said the ESIC network had grown from 393 districts in 2014 to 674 in 2024, and that ESIC would be integrated with AB-PMJAY.
