On 26 May 2026 Social Justice Minister Dr Virendra Kumar launched the PM-AJAY Portal and AJAY Mobile App for end-to-end digital, real-time implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Anusuchit Jaati Abhyuday Yojana.

Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment Dr Virendra Kumar launched the PM-AJAY Portal and the PM-AJAY Mobile App to move the Pradhan Mantri Anusuchit Jaati Abhyuday Yojana (PM-AJAY) from paper-based to end-to-end digital, real-time workflow. The portal will enable real-time monitoring, transparent governance and milestone-linked fund flow for the Adarsh Gram, Grant-in-Aid (GIA) and Hostel components. The app gives mobile access to scheme services, village-level planning and field monitoring. MoS B.L. Verma and Secretary Sudhansh Pant attended, with States and UTs joining virtually.
