PLFS June 2025: unemployment steady at 5.6%, LFPR dips to 54.2%

The Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS) monthly bulletin for June 2025, released by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation on 15 July 2025, put the unemployment rate in Current Weekly Status (CWS) for persons aged 15 and above at 5.6%, the same as in May 2025. The Labour Force Participation Rate fell to 54.2% from 54.8%, and the Worker Population Ratio fell to 51.2% from 51.7%.
