On 28 October 2024, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry said Union Minister Piyush Goyal would visit Saudi Arabia on 29â30 October 2024 to deepen the India-Saudi strategic partnership and participate in the 8th Future Investment Initiative (FII) in Riyadh. He was to inaugurate a Diwali Utsav at a Lulu hypermarket in Riyadh, unveil a One District, One Product (ODOP) wall at the Indian Embassy, and hold talks with Saudi ministers of commerce, industry, investment and energy.
