Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal launched the 8th edition of the National Programme for Organic Production (NPOP) at the NASC Complex, Pusa, New Delhi, on 9 January 2025. Piyush Goyal said India's organic exports have the potential to reach ₹20,000 crore in the next three years. A dedicated NPOP portal, an Organic Promotion Portal, TraceNet 2.0 (the upgraded online traceability system), a redesigned APEDA portal and a redesigned AgriXchange portal were unveiled.
