Piyush Goyal to visit Canada on 25–27 May to advance India–Canada CEPA talks

Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal will visit Canada from 25 to 27 May 2026 with over 100 Indian businesses to push negotiations on the India–Canada Comprehensive Economic and Partnership Agreement (CEPA), the ministry announced on 23 May.

India–Canada trade in FY2025-26 was about USD 8 billion, with Indian exports of USD 4.67 billion and imports of USD 3.28 billion. The ministry noted that Prime Minister Carney visited India on 2 March 2026.
