At a briefing in New Delhi the same day, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said India had exercised its right to respond and to pre-empt and deter further cross-border attacks; he was joined by Colonel Sofia Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh. The sites named at the briefing were Sawai Nala and Syedna Bilal (Muzaffarabad), Gulpur and Abbas (Kotli) and Barnala (Bhimber) in PoJK, and Sarjal and Mehmoona Joya (Sialkot), Markaz Taiba (Muridke) and Markaz Subhanallah (Bahawalpur) in Pakistan.
