India launches Operation Sagar Bandhu to aid cyclone-hit Sri Lanka

On 28 November 2025 India launched Operation Sagar Bandhu to send humanitarian assistance and disaster relief to Sri Lanka after Cyclone Ditwah; the first relief was handed over in Colombo from INS Vikrant and INS Udaygiri.
