'OneTag' FASTag portability service launched on NHAI's Rajmargyatra app

On 17 September 2026, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) said 'OneTag', a FASTag portability service, is now available on its Rajmargyatra app, letting users change their FASTag issuer without buying a new tag.

Summary

OneTag lets FASTag users switch their issuer bank while keeping the tag already fixed on the vehicle. Users enter the vehicle registration number on Rajmargyatra, receive a six-digit Mobile Verification Code from the current issuer, pick a new issuer and complete verification. The FASTag ID linked to the vehicle stays the same. Rajmargyatra also offers the FASTag Annual Pass, FASTag Local Pass and Emergency Helpline 1033.
