The National Statistics Office released the results of its Forward-Looking Survey on Private Corporate Sector CAPEX Investment Intentions (survey period October–December 2025) on 23 March 2026. Estimated capex per enterprise for 2024-25 was ₹180.2 crore against actual capex of ₹173.5 crore, a realisation ratio of 96.3%. Aggregate provisional capex for 2025-26 is estimated at ₹11,43,879 crore, and investment intentions for 2026-27 at ₹9,55,281 crore. About 65.35% of 2025-26 capex is funded from internal accruals and 23.25% from domestic debt; 48.63% of enterprises focus capex on core assets. The NSO ran the first such survey in November 2024–January 2025.
