In Uttar Pradesh, projects worth ₹272 crore were cleared, including a ₹263 crore 45 MLD sewage treatment plant at Chandauli on the Hybrid Annuity Model with 15 years of operation and maintenance, and a ₹9 crore 15 KLD faecal sludge treatment plant with 35 kW solar power at Manikpur in Pratapgarh. A ₹257 crore project for Buxar in Bihar includes a 50 MLD STP, a 1 MLD nature-based STP, three interception pumping stations and 8.68 km of sewer lines, while Uttarpara-Kotrung in West Bengal got an ₹8 crore 22 KLD faecal sludge treatment plant.
