NITI Aayog's e-FAST India launches PACT platform to scale zero-emission trucks

On 7 September 2026, NITI Aayog Member Rajiv Gauba launched the Platform for Aggregating Clean Transport (PACT) at the 5th e-FAST India Summit to pool freight demand and speed up deployment of zero-emission trucks.

NITI Aayog Member Rajiv Gauba launched the Platform for Aggregating Clean Transport (PACT) at the 5th e-FAST India Summit 2026 on 7 September 2026. PACT is a flagship initiative of e-FAST India, a NITI Aayog platform, and aggregates freight demand from shippers and logistics service providers into deployment opportunities on identified freight corridors. The aim is to strengthen the commercial case for zero-emission trucks (ZETs). The summit also introduced a ZET Marketplace that connects e-truck makers, logistics firms, charge point operators, financiers and technology companies. MoRTH Secretary V. Umashankar and about 250 participants attended.
