NICDC to anchor BHAVYA scheme for 100 plug-and-play industrial parks

The Commerce Ministry said on 19 March 2026 that the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC) will anchor the BHAVYA scheme to develop 100 plug-and-play industrial parks under the National Industrial Corridor Development Programme.

The National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC), under DPIIT, will anchor implementation of the BHAVYA scheme, which aims to develop 100 plug-and-play industrial parks across the country under the National Industrial Corridor Development Programme (NICDP), the Commerce Ministry said on 19 March 2026. The parks will offer pre-approved land, ready infrastructure, single-window approvals and underground utilities, aligned with the PM GatiShakti National Master Plan. NICDC is already implementing 20 projects in 13 states and is the Project Management Agency for seven PM MITRA Parks of the Ministry of Textiles.
