NICDC, Bihar sign agreements for Integrated Manufacturing Cluster in Gaya

On 12 November 2024, the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC), the Government of Bihar and the Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA) signed the State Support Agreement and Shareholder Agreement to set up an Integrated Manufacturing Cluster (IMC) in Gaya, Bihar, a node under the Amritsar-Kolkata Industrial Corridor (AKIC). IMC Gaya, 39 km south of Gaya International Airport, will cover 1,670 acres with an investment potential of ₹16,524 crore and a project cost of ₹1,339 crore, and is expected to create about 1,09,185 jobs. NH-19 (Golden Quadrilateral) is 10 km away and NH-22 is 2 km away.
