NHRC announces ITEC programme on human rights for NHRIs of eight Global South countries

On 10 November 2024, the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), India announced that, in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs, it is organising a six-day Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Executive Capacity Building Programme for senior officers of National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs) of the Global South from 11 to 16 November 2024 in New Delhi. Participants come from NHRIs of eight countries, including Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, the Philippines and Sri Lanka. Sessions cover NHRC's online complaint management system, investigation mechanisms and emerging human rights issues.
