MLFF is barrier-less tolling that combines Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) with FASTag-based Electronic Toll Collection, so vehicles pass without stopping. NHAI had earlier launched MLFF at the Chorayasi Toll Plaza on the Surat–Bharuch section of NH-48 in Gujarat and at Mundka Bakkarwala on UER-II in Delhi. Users with insufficient or invalid FASTag get an E-Notice and must pay the normal user fee within 72 hours.
