SEBI approves NHAI's Raajmarg Infra Investment Trust as a public InvIT

NHAI said on 24 December 2025 that SEBI has approved its sponsored Raajmarg Infra Investment Trust (RIIT) as a public Infrastructure Investment Trust aimed mainly at retail and domestic investors.

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) said on 24 December 2025 that the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has approved the NHAI-sponsored Raajmarg Infra Investment Trust (RIIT) as a public Infrastructure Investment Trust (InvIT). RIIT is meant to monetise National Highway assets and give retail and domestic investors a long-term instrument to invest in highways. Raajmarg Infra Investment Managers Pvt. Ltd. (RIIMPL), the investment manager, has equity from banks and financial institutions including SBI, PNB, NaBFID, HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank.
