On 9 June 2025 in Puducherry, Union Minister of State L. Murugan inaugurated the National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA) for the Puducherry Legislative Assembly.

Murugan, Union Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs, inaugurated the National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA) for the Puducherry Legislative Assembly on 9 June 2025, in the presence of Lieutenant Governor K. Kailashnathan, Chief Minister N. Rangasamy and Speaker R. Selvam. Puducherry became the 19th legislature in the country to adopt NeVA, which enables paperless legislative functioning.
