NCGG concludes first capacity building programme for civil servants of Southeast Asia and the Indian Ocean Region

On 29 November 2024, the National Centre for Good Governance concluded its first two-week capacity building programme for 30 senior civil servants from nine Southeast Asian and Indian Ocean Region countries, held in Mussoorie and New Delhi.

On 29 November 2024, the National Centre for Good Governance (NCGG) concluded its 1st Capacity Building Programme on Public Policy and Administration for civil servants from Southeast Asia and the Indian Ocean Region. The two-week programme, held from 18 to 29 November 2024 in Mussoorie and New Delhi, brought together 30 senior officers from Sri Lanka, Oman, Tanzania, Kenya, Seychelles, Malaysia, Cambodia, Maldives and Myanmar. It covered e-governance, sustainable development, transparency and inclusivity. At the valedictory session, NCGG Director General Dr Surendrakumar Bagde highlighted India's e-governance progress and the philosophy of 'minimum government, maximum governance'.
