On 21 June 2025, more than nine lakh National Cadet Corps cadets took part in synchronised yoga sessions at locations across India for the 11th International Day of Yoga.

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) said more than nine lakh cadets took part in synchronised yoga sessions across India on 21 June 2025 for the 11th International Day of Yoga. Sessions were held from Leh to Kanyakumari and from Dwarka to Tezu, including at the Triveni Ghats of Rishikesh, Marina Beach in Chennai and the Statue of Unity in Gujarat. In Delhi, Vice Chief of the Army Staff Lt Gen NS Raja Subramani performed yoga at the Cariappa Parade Ground with over 3,400 participants, including Defence Attachés from 25 countries.
