The National Biodiversity Authority (NBA) released ₹5.34 crore to about 85 Biodiversity Management Committees in Wada tehsil of Palghar district and the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation area of Maharashtra under the Access and Benefit Sharing (ABS) framework (27 November 2025).
