Nayi Chetna 4.0 national campaign on gender equality launched

Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan launched Nayi Chetna 4.0, the National Campaign on Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment, at Sushma Swaraj Bhawan, New Delhi, on 25 November 2025.

Summary

The month-long campaign, organised by DAY-NRLM under the Ministry of Rural Development, will run across all States and UTs until 23 December 2025. An inter-ministerial joint advisory on convergent efforts among 12 ministries/departments was unveiled, along with a tripartite MoU–Letter of Intent between the Ministries of Women and Child Development, Law & Justice and Rural Development for the Violence-Free Village Initiative. WCD Minister Annapurna Devi attended.
