On 25 November 2024, Union Rural Development and Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan launched the third edition of 'Nayi Chetna – Pahal Badlaav Ki', a month-long national campaign against gender-based violence, at Rang Bhawan Auditorium in New Delhi. He also inaugurated 227 new Gender Resource Centres across 13 States, where survivors can access information, report incidents and receive legal help. Women and Child Development Minister Annapurna Devi launched the #AbKoiBahanaNahi campaign at the event, and an inter-ministerial joint advisory was released. The campaign, organised by the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM) through its SHG network, runs across all States and UTs until 23 December 2024, with the message 'Ek Saath Ek Awaaz – Hinsa Ke Khilaf'.
