The induction ceremony of the 10th Ammunition cum Torpedo cum Missile (ACTCM) barge, LSAM 24 (Yard 134), was held at Naval Dockyard, Mumbai, on 22 April 2025, with Cmde AKK Reddy as chief guest. The contract for eleven ACTCM barges was concluded with Suryadipta Projects Pvt Ltd, Thane, an MSME shipyard, on 5 March 2021. The barges were indigenously designed with an Indian ship design firm, model-tested at the Naval Science and Technological Laboratory, Visakhapatnam, and built to Indian Register of Shipping rules. They help transport, embark and disembark ammunition to naval platforms at jetties and outer harbours.
