MeitY: indigenous 1.5 kW wireless EV charger by C-DAC and VNIT Nagpur transferred to industry under NaMPET

At an event at Electronics Niketan, New Delhi, on 7 April 2025, MeitY showcased transfer of technology (ToT), MoA and MoU agreements for commercialising technologies developed under the National Mission on Power Electronics Technology (NaMPET). The indigenous 1.5 kW wireless charger for electric vehicles, developed by C-DAC (T) and VNIT Nagpur, was transferred to M/s Global Business Solution Pvt. Ltd. Other items included a railway propulsion system integrating two 2.5 MVA traction converters, and an MoU with Kerala's K-DISC for Low Voltage Direct Current (LVDC) systems.
