The Department of Health Research (DHR) organised it with the WHO India Country Office and the Centre for Global Development. The theme was 'Bridging Evidence to Policy: Health Technology Assessment for Affordable Healthcare'. Nadda said HTA India (HTAIn) resource centres are spread over 19 states and help in priority-setting, such as for TB detection and cost optimisation. He said 22 AIIMS have been set up and 75,000 medical seats are to be added, 30,000 of them last year.
