Nadda attends AIIMS Bilaspur's 3rd Foundation Day; 127 posts sanctioned

The institute was set up under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY). PM Modi laid its foundation stone on 3 October 2017 and dedicated it to the nation on 5 October 2022. Nadda said it now offers advanced MRI, CT, PET-CT and endoscopy, and has reduced out-of-pocket spending for people who earlier had to travel to PGI Chandigarh. He said 127 posts (29 faculty, 98 non-faculty) had been sanctioned, and ₹165 crore approved for staff quarters and UG hostels. He also said a team with NITI Aayog and the Indian Institute of Public Administration will visit all AIIMS to draw up a roadmap. The institute's motto is 'Sarve Santu Niramaya'.
