MOIL records best-ever October manganese ore production
Steel Ministry PSU MOIL reported on 5 November 2025 that it produced 1.60 lakh tonnes of manganese ore in October 2025, its best October output since inception.

MOIL's October 2025 output of 1.60 lakh tonnes of manganese ore was 9.1% higher than in October 2024, and its production in the first seven months of FY 2025–26 reached 11.04 lakh tonnes, up 8.5%. The company also achieved its highest-ever exploratory core drilling of 57,275 metres in April–October 2025, CMD Ajit Kumar Saxena said.
