IFC-IOR hosts third Maritime Information Sharing Workshop (MISW-25) in Gurugram
The third edition of the Maritime Information Sharing Workshop (MISW-25), hosted by the Information Fusion Centre โ Indian Ocean Region (IFC-IOR), ran in Gurugram, Haryana, from 3 to 5 November 2025 with 57 participants from 30 countries.
Summary
MISW-25, held in Gurugram on 3โ5 November 2025 on the theme 'Enhancing Real-Time Coordination and Information Sharing Across the Indian Ocean Region', included representatives of IORA, DCoC/JA and BIMSTEC and a table-top exercise using the indigenous MANTRA software. Its Maritime Security Seminar, which ended on 4 November, was opened by Deputy Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral Tarun Sobti.
