Scindia launches ₹167-crore 'Mission on Arunachal Kiwi' for cluster-based kiwi value chain

The cluster-based kiwi cultivation and value-chain mission has an outlay of about ₹167 crore and is anchored by MDoNER, with support from other ministries, NABARD, ICAR-CITH, APEDA, NERAMAC and private investors. Its six cluster-level post-harvest management hubs are spread across Ziro Valley (Lower Subansiri), Dirang and Kalaktang (West Kameng), Shi Yomi and Dibang Valley. The mission's more than 30 interventions aim to restore the state's lapsed NPOP organic certification and build cold-chain capacity, ending the 7–10-day window in which farmers make distress sales.
