C-DAC organised it under MeitY's research initiatives to build an indigenous electronic toy ecosystem. Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, won the first prize of ₹2 lakh; Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida, came second and NIT Durgapur third. The online design stage in January 2025 drew 112 teams, of which 20 were shortlisted to build prototypes at C-DAC Noida. Toy maker Dr. Mady's Innovation said it will take 2–3 prototypes into commercial production.
