Indian Navy holds Meghayan-25 meteorological and oceanological symposium

The 3rd edition of the Indian Navy's Meteorological and Oceanological Symposium, Meghayan-25, was held on 14 April 2025 at Nausena Bhawan, Delhi, to commemorate the formation of the World Meteorological Organization and celebrate WMO Day 2025. Chief of the Naval Staff Adm Dinesh K Tripathi inaugurated it virtually. Organisations including IMD, IITM, INCOIS, NIOT, the Indian Air Force, ISRO's Space Applications Centre, the National Maritime Foundation and IIT Madras took part. The seminar was aligned with the WMO Day 2025 theme, 'Closing the Early Warning Gap Together'. The Defence Ministry release on it was issued on 16 April.
