Navy receives LSAM 21, seventh Ammunition cum Torpedo cum Missile Barge

On 4 October 2024, at Naval Dockyard, Mumbai, Maharashtra, LSAM 21 (Yard 131), the 7th of 11 Ammunition cum Torpedo cum Missile Barges built by MSME shipyard Suryadipta Projects, Thane, was delivered to the Indian Navy.

Summary

On 4 October 2024, at Naval Dockyard, Mumbai, Maharashtra, the Ammunition cum Torpedo cum Missile Barge LSAM 21 (Yard 131), the 7th barge of the 11-barge ACTCM project built by MSME shipyard M/s Suryadipta Projects Pvt Ltd, Thane, was delivered to the Indian Navy for NAD (Karanja). The contract for the 11 barges was signed on 5 March 2021. The barges are indigenously designed and built under Indian Register of Shipping rules, with model testing at NSTL, Visakhapatnam.
