On 13 October 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, at the event marking PM GatiShakti's fourth anniversary, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal launched the Logistics Excellence, Advancement, and Performance Shield (LEAPS) 2025. A flagship DPIIT initiative aligned with the National Logistics Policy 2022 and PM GatiShakti, LEAPS recognises best practices and innovation across air, road, sea and rail freight operators, warehousing, multimodal transporters, MSMEs, startups and academia, with emphasis on ESG and green logistics. Entries can be submitted on the Rashtriya Puraskar Portal (awards.gov.in) until 15 November 2025.
