Khelo India Para Games 2025 close in New Delhi; Haryana retain title with 34 golds

The second Khelo India Para Games closed in New Delhi on 27 March 2025, with Haryana topping the medal table again with 34 gold and 104 medals in all, ahead of Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh.

The second edition of the Khelo India Para Games, held in New Delhi from 20 to 27 March 2025, closed on 27 March. Haryana retained the team title with 34 gold, 39 silver and 31 bronze (104 medals). Tamil Nadu rose from third in the first edition to second with 28 gold (74 medals), and Uttar Pradesh, second last time, finished third with 23 gold (64 medals). The first edition, in December 2023, was also won by Haryana. In para-powerlifting, athletes from the SAI National Centre of Excellence in Gandhinagar won 10 medals, including seven golds, and set four national records.
