Within the UDF, the Congress won 63 seats, the Indian Union Muslim League 22, the Kerala Congress 7, the Revolutionary Socialist Party 3 and the Kerala Congress (Jacob) 1; the CPI(M) won 26 and the CPI 8. The BJP won three seats, Nemom, Kazhakuttam and Chathannoor, with state BJP president Rajeev Chandrasekhar winning Nemom, and Leader of the Opposition V. D. Satheesan won Paravur. Polling was held on 9 April 2026.
