The six-day International Workshop on Land Governance, organised by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj with the Ministry of External Affairs under the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) programme, concluded at the Haryana Institute of Public Administration (HIPA) in Gurugram on 29 March 2025. Senior officials from 22 countries across Africa, Latin America and South-East Asia took part. India showcased drone-based land surveys, digital property records and transparent mechanisms under the SVAMITVA Scheme. Panchayati Raj Secretary Vivek Bharadwaj said India was ready to share land governance technology under South-South cooperation and that SVAMITVA could aid policymaking globally.
