On 20 February 2025 the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare launched an Intensified Special NCD Screening Campaign, running from 20 February to 31 March 2025, aiming at 100% screening of all individuals aged 30 years and above for diabetes, hypertension and three common cancers: oral, breast and cervical. The campaign runs through Ayushman Arogya Mandirs and other health facilities under the National Programme for Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases (NP-NCD), with door-to-door outreach by ASHAs and ANMs, daily data uploads on the NP-NCD portal and daily progress reports from states by 6 pm.
