He said the fisheries sector has grown at 9.08% since 2014-15, the highest among agriculture and allied sectors, and that 4 of the country's 11 Integrated Aqua Parks are being set up in the Northeast. He urged making Tripura a fish surplus state with a production target of 2 lakh tonnes against its requirement of 1.5 lakh tonnes, and said Tripura would be developed as an Organic Fish Cluster like Sikkim.
