The Indian Navy said on 16 February 2025 that INS Shardul and a P8I long-range maritime surveillance aircraft were in Bali, Indonesia, to take part in the International Fleet Review (IFR) 2025, scheduled from 15 to 22 February and to be reviewed by the President of Indonesia. The Navy will also join the International Maritime Security Symposium, tactical floor games, a city parade and environmental activities. After the IFR, both platforms will take part in Exercise Komodo, a multilateral naval exercise. This follows INS Mumbai and a P8I's participation in Exercise La Perouse in Indonesia in January 2025.
